18: 0 Diether PC is a diether phosphatidylcholine containing 18 carbon ether chains.Its long-chain saturated ether structure endows the lipid bilayer with higher rigidity and impermeability,making it suitable for the stability requirements of extreme dehydration conditions in freeze-drying processes The combination of 70:30 molar ratio with cholesterol can optimize the physical properties of the membrane,balance fluidity and rigidity,and avoid membrane rupture or drug leakage during freeze-drying process.
