IR820-COOH

IR820-COOH is a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye derivative in which IR820 (a heptamethine cyanine dye similar to indocyanine green, ICG) is chemically modified to introduce a carboxyl (-COOH) group for conjugation or functionalization.
Applications:
Photothermal therapy (PTT): Converts NIR light to heat for tumor ablation.
Fluorescence imaging: For in vivo tumor visualization and biodistribution studies.
Photoacoustic imaging: Dual-mode imaging when integrated into nanocarriers.
Drug delivery systems: As a functional probe to track or activate nanocarriers.
