Cy5-Vitamin C

Cy5-Vitamin C (Cy5-Labeled L-Ascorbic acid ) is a fluorescently labeled derivative of L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), where a Cy5 cyanine dye (Ex/Em≈650/670 nm) is covalently conjugated to vitamin C. This modification allows for near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence imaging while retaining part of antioxidant of vitamin C or redox properties depending on the conjugation site.
Applications:
In vivo and in vitro imaging–monitor vitamin C biodistribution and uptake.
Targeted delivery systems–conjugation to nanoparticles or liposomes for NIR tracking.
Antioxidant therapy studies–visualize redox activity in cells or tissues.
