DOPC:Chol:DOPG:DOPE-PEG(2000) (60:30:5:5 molar ratio),Liposome formulations can be broadly divided into cationic, anionic and neutral subtypes. Cellsome liposomes made from anionic PEGylated lipids are unilamellar and sized to 100 nm. PEGylation is commonly used to increase the circulation time of liposomes in the bloodstream because PEG creates a hydrophilic layer around the liposome, reducing immune system detection and preventing opsonization. So combining anionic lipids with PEGylation might result in a more stable and long-circulating liposome.
